The snowy romance of sceneries invites you to a snow shoeing tour. Enjoy the lovely view of the Carinthian mountains on your hikes in winter wonderland. Many of the hiking trails can be used with strollers.

Lake Pressegger See and Weissensee

Ice skater’s paradise in Carinthia

Ice skating and Alpine curling is an absolute must once lake Pressegger See (only a 30-minute drive from Gartnerkofel hotel) or lake Weissensee are frozen. And by the way: lake Weissensee is Europe’s largest permanently frozen and groomed natural ice rink.

FYI: Even James Bond skated along these stunning ice arenas in chilly temperatures.
