We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies when preparing meals.

Please inform us of your allergies at least two days before arrival so we can notify our kitchen team.

Our buffet team will provide information about allergens in the dishes served during lunch and afternoon buffets. More details on allergies and intolerances can be found here.

A deposit of 20 % of the total booking price is required within 3 weeks of confirmation. The remaining balance can be paid on-site, either in cash or by card (VISA/MasterCard, debit card). We regret that Diners Club and American Express are not accepted.

Our childcare services are available for children aged 3 and older. We appreciate your understanding that we cannot provide childcare for children under 3 years of age.

Your room includes two bathrobes for adults. Additional bathrobes or children’s bathrobes can be requested at reception.

The nearest train station is in Hermagor, about 25 minutes from the hotel.

The nearest airport is in Klagenfurt (KLU), about 1 hour 20 minutes away.

We can arrange a transfer from the train station or airport to the hotel. Please contact our sales team via phone or email for transfer prices.

Our hotel is largely wheelchair accessible. The adult wellness area is accessible via three steps. While we have one wheelchair-friendly room, many other rooms are also accessible.

Check-out: 10 a.m.

You are welcome to arrive earlier and start using the hotel facilities.
Your room will be available no later than 3. p.m. The warm lunch buffet is included either on your arrival OR departure day. On your departure day, you may continue to use the wellness or children's areas after check-out.

Day Spa is not available at our hotel.

Our hotel has several charging stations. To charge your car, please collect the required PIN code at reception. The kWh usage will be added to your room bill.

Parking spaces cannot be reserved and are subject to availability.

WINTER:
Our hotel has 3 parking garages, which are available for € 8.00 per day. Alternatively, you may park for free in our courtyard. Note: Parking across from the hotel is prohibited between 12.00 a.m. and 8.00 a.m.

Our hotel has 3 parking garages and free parking spaces in front of the hotel.

We offer all our guests the Gartnerkofel indulgence package, which includes a rich breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, and dinner. Additionally, all non-alcoholic beverages are included (except cocktails, non-alcoholic beer, Red Bull, and tonic). Booking with half-board or breakfast only is not possible.

Your room includes a wellness bag with towels for the wellness area, as well as bathroom towels. For the beach at Lake Pressegg, we kindly ask you to bring your own towels.

The cost for your pet is € 20.00 per day without food. Please note that pets are not allowed in all public areas (lobby, restaurant, wellness area, beach "Oswald"). Any damages or extraordinary cleaning expenses will be charged additionally.

No, our children’s area is exclusively for hotel guests.

We offer a separate children’s buffet featuring soup, various main courses, and dessert. The dishes are simple and change daily (e.g., pasta, schnitzel, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, sautéed dishes, fries, vegetables, potatoes, etc.)

Our suites with saunas are equipped with a minibar. Other room categories do not include a minibar by default. Upon request and subject to availability, we can provide a small refrigerator for your room.

€ 2.70 per day/person aged 17 and over will be charged additionally.

Lake Pressegger is about a 30-minute drive. Our private beach "Oswald" is located there.
Please note that no shuttle service is provided to the lake.

Non-hotel guests are welcome to join us for breakfast, the lunch buffet, or dinner. Please note that we do not offer an à la carte menu.

Breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. Lunch buffet is available from 12.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. Dinner (5-course menu or themed buffet, depending on the day) is from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
We kindly request table reservations for breakfast and dinner.

The ski pass is not included in our offer but can be purchased at the hotel reception. Discounts are available for ski passes of 1.5 days or more. Current ski pass prices can be found here.

The ski school "Die Skischule" is about 200 m from the hotel. For information and bookings for ski courses or private lessons, please contact the ski school directly.

Our hotel is located at 1,500m above sea level and is accessible via an 11 km mountain road. If it snows on your arrival day, snow chains are mandatory. Snow chains can be purchased at the BP gas station in Tröpolach. The road is cleared regularly during snowfall.

As the hotel is close to Italy, the weather can change quickly, sometimes within hours.
For up-to-date weather reports, we recommend the website/app Bergfex.

We accept all debit cards, VISA, MasterCard, and cash. We regret that we cannot accept American Express or Diners Club.

Non-hotel guests are welcome to join us for breakfast, the lunch buffet, or dinner. Please note that we do not offer an à la carte menu.

Cancellations

Winter season 2024/25

In case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before arrival: no cancellation fees
In case of cancellation up to 2 weeks before arrival: we will keep the paid deposit
In case of a cancellation within 14 days before arrival: 80 % of the price have to be paid.
In the event of an early departure or late arrival, 100 % of the room price will be charged as cancellation costs.
A cancellation will only be accepted in written form. For legal reasons we are obliged to inform you that we reserve the right to cancel bookings due to insufficient snow up to three days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Furthermore, we would like to remind you that you have no claim on the operation of all 33 cable cars and uphill installations since some of the lifts might not run due to insufficient snow cover.

Summer season 2025
